- sold - dimensions: 94" W x 18" D x 96" H - Designed in 1952 for Structural Products, this was George Nelson's predecessor to the CSS system he designed for Herman MIller. This system consists of one two-door cabinet measuring 18 X 31 X 24"h, one two-door cabinet measuring 18 X 31 X 14"h, one four-drawer cabinet measuring 18 X 31 X 24"h, four shelves and a magazine shelf. all mounted on four aluminum uprights. Constructed of American Walnut, this is infinitely versatile and completely modular; shelves may be mounted on either side of the support rails. The brackets slide and lock into the uprights, and the shelves are then fastened to the brackets. Upon final assembly this unit is solid as a rock. The entire unit may be fastened to the wall via clips at the top rear (as seen in the two middle poles), or original tension hardware is included and may be used in an eight foot ceiling configuration.
